Whenever possible, you should take appropriate measures to gather the following information:
| |
| |
Name, address and phone number of all drivers involved |
| |
| |
Gather the same information for the owners of the vehicles if they are not the drivers |
| |
| |
Collect insurance information (insurance company, agency, policy number and policy holders name) from the drivers and owners of all vehicles involved |
| |
| |
Contact information of any passengers involved |
| |
Contact information of any witnesses |
| |
The make, model, color and license plate number of all vehicles involved |
| |
| |
The location of the accident |
| |
The police department on the scene |
Take notes of your description of the accident, as details such as speed, direction, etc., may be difficult to recall later. Don’t share this with others involved, as their account of the accident may differ.

Contact Cross as soon as possible. |
Call your local Cross agent in cases of emergency. You should also call your insurance carrier directly in these instances.
